Growth Stories: A Documentary Series for Al Baraka Bank Egypt

For Al Baraka Bank Egypt, Essence Adverts produced a documentary series that puts the bank’s role in Egypt’s entrepreneurial success on record. Shot across Egypt in a podcast-style, sit-down format, each episode follows a founder from the first financing to the business they lead today, and shows how Al Baraka was the turning point behind that growth. We sat with the founders of Desouky & Soda, the Frutella factory, the National Foods factory and the pharmaceutical group Global Pharma, documenting their journeys in their own words and inside their own factories, kitchens and headquarters. The result is a series that positions Al Baraka Bank not as a sponsor of success stories, but as the reason they happened.

Growth Stories: A Documentary Series for Al Baraka Bank Egypt
Each episode is built as a conversation, not a commercial. Founders sit down on camera and walk through the moments that defined their businesses: the decision to expand, the financing that made it possible, and what came after. Essence travelled across Egypt to film on location, pairing the interviews with documentary footage of the factories, production lines and teams that Al Baraka Bank’s financing helped build.
