Job Description:

As a Motion Graphic Designer at Essence Adverts, you will create visually striking animations and video assets that bring stories to life and elevate brand messaging. From thumb-stopping Reels and TikToks to dynamic explainer videos, your work will be central to how brands move, speak, and connect. You’ll collaborate with designers, editors, copywriters, and creative leads to craft animations that are platform-native, creatively bold, and performance-focused. In a content-first agency, your motion work will help define the visual tempo of every campaign.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create dynamic motion graphics for social media, digital ads, explainer videos, and branded content.
  • Animate assets such as typography, logos, characters, and illustrations in line with brand identity and storytelling goals.
  • Work closely with creative directors, designers, and editors to bring static visuals to life through animation.
  • Adapt content for different platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Meta Ads) with mobile-first thinking.
  • Support in video editing, compositing, and adding animated transitions and effects to elevate content quality.
  • Maintain high-quality standards while meeting fast-paced delivery timelines across multiple projects.
  • Stay updated on motion trends, new animation tools, and social formats to keep work fresh and relevant.
  • Organize project files, templates, and assets for seamless collaboration with the broader content and production team.
Qualifications :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Motion Design, Animation, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in motion graphics within an agency, content studio, or brand setting.
  • Strong portfolio of animated social content, explainer videos, and branded motion design.
  • Expert-level proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop; Illustrator and Cinema 4D are a plus.
  • Solid understanding of animation principles, visual rhythm, and platform-native behavior for short-form content.
  • Experience with sound design basics and syncing visuals with audio and voiceover is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and deliver polished, on-brand animations.
  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for creativity, experimentation, and storytelling through motion.
